Well, this year, the summer season has played evil tricks on us. Our snow melted, we thought spring was here, then got 2 feet of snow. It melted again, we thought spring was here, it snowed again. The last time it snowed was May 1st. Spring (shuuush) I believe is finally here!

We will have amazing, gorgeous (sometimes rainy) weather until late August, when things will start to cool down. We'll enjoy our 24 hours of daylight for that time (it will lessen, but you don't really notice to fall).

I love living in Alaska... and can't imagine living anywhere else! (well, except for deep deep winter, and then usually a trip to someplace with white sand fixes that, and I'm good for another season of darkness). So of course I'd say "yes! move here!".

This is such a wonderful...and funny story!!! Thanks so much for sharing it.

Hey...It looks like all the snow has melted. How long is your spring and summer there? I would love to visit Alaska. I have been telling my husband...we need to move there. Would you recommend it? Moving there?
